October 17, 2007Professor Emeritus in Economics at LSU Dr. Loren Scott will deliver his annual Louisiana Economic Outlook report for the 2007-2008 year.
The economic forecast will address critical economic issues, such as the post-Katrina and Rita economic impact, jobs growth and the implications of new offshore oil discoveries in the Gulf of Mexico.
Scott will release his report at a presentation on Thursday, Oct. 18, in the Cotillion Ballroom of the Bollinger Student Union at Nicholls State University.
Attendees will receive a bound copy of the report for the Bayou Region and the state.
The cost to attend the presentation and luncheon is $35.
