TGMC nurse receives honor

Sabrina Fitch, RN in the Telemetry Unit at Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) has been honored with “The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.” Fitch has been a part of the TGMC family for two years.

This award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s program to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

“Receiving the DAISY Award is such a rewarding gift to whoever receives it. I want to thank God, my family, and my co-workers for supporting me in my nursing career. It is such an honor and privilege to be part of the TGMC team,” said Fitch.

This is one initiative of the DAISY Foundation, whose overall goal is to help fight diseases of the immune system.
