Diane Yeates has been named chief operating officer at Terre-bonne General Medical Center.
A 19-year TGMC employee, Yeates as served as the hospital’s director of budget and reimbursement, director of patient financial services and, since 2002, the chief financial officer.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University and a master’s degree in business administration from Nicholls State.
Yeates has been a certified public accountant since 1987.
As chief operating officer, Yeates will be responsible for the hospital’s growth initiatives and overseeing operational functions, as well as maintaining vital relationships with staff, physicians and hospital board members.
A long-time resident of Houma, Yeates serves as treasurer for the United Way Board, and is a board member for the chamber and the TGMC Credit Union.
