Mardi Gras garbage pickup schedule announced

If your trash went untouched Mardi Gras, don’t fret. SWeeDee Solid Waste Disposal is running Tuesday’s route on Friday, officials announced.

Garbage services will resume the normal schedule beginning today, and trash normally scheduled for pickup Tuesdays will be collected Friday, the next scheduled pickup day.

The holiday schedule affects Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes and the City of Grand Isle.
