The Polk Street Bridge will be closed the rest of the work week as workers will remove old utility lines on the bridge.
The closure will be for Thursday (August 29) and Friday (August 30). The bridge will then re-open for the long holiday weekend.
Next week, the bridge will close again from Tuesday-Thursday (September 3-5) for the line boring for the utility lines associated with the new bridge replacement.
