River Region Drama Guild to offer free children’s workshop

Youngsters ages 12-18 are eligible to attend the River Region Drama Guild’s free workshop. Designed to hone their acting skills, students could even have an opportunity to participate in a play.

Set for July 23-26 and July 30-Aug. 2, classes will be held at the River Region Performing Arts and Cultural Center, 15146 River Road in Norco. Classes will meet from 6 to 9 p.m.

The play will be presented Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. All are invited to attend.

The workshop is designed to benefit experienced and beginning actors develop confidence and encourage imagination, while also teaching acting and stage movement skills. Students will learn to express themselves through creative improvisation and skits.
