April is National Second Chance Month and the Bayou Region ReEntry Team is hosting a Second Chance Sight drive collecting reading glasses for individuals in local correctional programs enrolled in education opportunities.
Supporters can stop by the Goodwill in Houma, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority, Terrebonne Parish’s DA Office, or Fletcher Technical Community College to drop off brand new or gently used reading glasses until Saturday, April 30.
The drive is sponsored by Fletcher Technical Community College, Goodwill, South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority, The District Attorney Office, Lafourche Parish Sheriff Office, and the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office. For information visit Start Corporation on Facebook.
