According to weather.com, it was 81 degrees yesterday in Houma.
But today, temperatures will struggle to get out of the 40s and on Friday, it may snow.

According to the National Weather Service, the current weather pattern of cold, wet conditions will hold through Friday, which should make for a couple-straight ugly days throughout Louisiana.
But on Thursday night and into the overnight Friday morning hours, temperatures are expected to dip below freezing, which could lead to freezing rain, sleet or some snow flurries in the area.
After Friday, the cold weather pattern will change and Saturday’s high temperature is forecast to be 58 degrees.
Meteorologists say to spend time today taking precautions to protect plants and pets from the weather ahead.
