The following is a rundown of actions taken by the Terrebonne Parish School Board during its regularly scheduled meeting on March 6. All board members in attendance. All decisions were made unanimous.

• Approved the substantial completion of the Vocational Technical High School roof project (administration building), subject to punch list repairs.

• Approved a 60-day extension to The Merlin Group LTD architect agreement extending the time from Feb. 6 to April 7 for the masonry restoration project at Lacache Middle, Schriever Elementary and West Park Elementary schools; the window replacement projects at Houma Junior High and Terrebonne High schools; the bus canopy replacement project at Southdown Elementary School and the driveway and parking lot replacement project at Village East Elementary School.

• Approved a 60-day extension to GSE Associates, Inc. engineer agreement extending the time from Feb. 6 to April 7 for the Montegut Middle School HVAC chiller replacement project, the Terrebonne High School auditorium HVAC air handler replacement project and the warehouse freezer project.

• Approved a 90-day extension extending the time from Feb. 6 to May 7 for the auditorium lighting project at H.L. Bourgeois, South Terrebonne and Terrebonne high schools.

• Authorized the replacement of floor tile at Lacache Middle School cafeteria building.

• Authorized drainage work at Bourg Elementary School for reshaping of the teacher parking lot and drainage work near portable building in the rear of the campus.

• Approved proceeding with drainage work at Montegut Middle School’s front and rear campus.

• Authorized driveway repairs for Lisa Park Elementary School.

• Approved a “Notice to Proceed” to The Merlin Group, LTD to proceed with plans, specification and a project budget for the replacement of the damaged bus shelter at Dularge Elementary School and report finding to the Building and Food Service, and Transportation Committee.

• Appointed Melissa Badeaux to serve as principal at Elysian Fields School.

• Appointed Joyce Carter to serve as principal at Grand Caillou Elementary School.

• Appointed Sharon Henry to serve as principal at Grand Caillou Middle School.

• Approved the motion to postpone discussion on the Mulberry Elementary School modular wing electrical utilities until April 20 board meeting.
