Terrebonne Parish School District is proud to welcome Officer Jermaine Galloway, who will present “Tall Cop Says Stop: High in Plain Sight.”

“This educational event will provide parents and community members with the ability, knowledge, and confidence to help prevent and quickly identify alcohol and/or drug use and abuse in at-risk individuals through products, stash compartments, clothing brands, lingo, music lyrics, and more,” reads the official flier from the TPSD. “Attendees will learn to identify concealment methods for alcohol and drugs in the home, classroom, or workplace.”

The Tall Cop, Jermaine Galloway, is “unique in that he spends hundreds of hours with ‘boots on the ground’ highlighting drug culture in various communities. To date, Galloway has trained more than 825,000 professional and community members. Galloway has conducted more than 9,600 community scans, identifying the drug culture and climate,” reads his official website.

Galloway’s program, “High in Plain Sight”, is a nationally recognized program, that provides training, education, and enforcement strategies for community substance abuse issues. Additionally, Galloway has published articles, been referenced in books, and has been highlighted in many media interviews.
