Terrebonne Foundation for Academic Excellence honored 11 Distinguished Scholars and their Inspirational Teachers at the annual Celebrating Excellence banquet at Terrebonne General last night. TFAE also honored the Terrebonne Parish Teachers of the Year and the Principals of the Year.

Terrebonne Parish Teachers of the year are:
Ms. Michelle Pinell – Elementary Teacher of the Year
Ms. Ashley Hebert – Jr. High/Middle School Teacher of the Year
Ms. Emily Stoufflet – High School Teacher of the Year
Terrebonne Parish Principals of the Year are:
Ms. Amanda Callahan – Elementary Principal of the Year
Mr. Jason Corbin – Jr. High/Middle School Principal of the Year
Mr. Blaise Pellegrin – High School Principal of the Year
Fletcher Technical Community College presented a scholarship of $500 to Shane Theriot. Nicholls State University presented a scholarship for $1000 to Dailynn Bergeron.
Alexandra Casey-Lizotte, along with her parents Andree Buquet Casey and Carleton Casey, presented the James J. Buquet Jr. Award of Distinction to Mr. Ken Wells. Justice John Weimer accepted the award on behalf of Mr. Wells.
