Two of the three suspects arrested Tuesday in the triple homicide which occurred early Monday morning in Raceland have been released by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Arrest warrants were recalled on Clifton Bell, 28, East 18th Street in Larose, and Percy Lee Folse, 37, St. Louis Street in Raceland. Sheriff’s office spokesman Larry Weidel said in a release that insufficient evidence existed to charge the two men.

Darrel Charles, 18, of Houma, confessed to being involved in the triple murder and is in sheriff’s office custody. He is charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder. A fourth victim was shot in the legs.

The sheriff’s office is looking for any other persons who may have been involved and for the assault weapons used in the shooting.
