The look on his face says it all!

The Times always welcomes photo submissions from readers anytime you guys capture a priceless moment that’s too good not to share.

In this photo, young Henry Legendre is literally in awe after catching this nice-sized red snapper off Grand Isle on Aug. 13.

Locals out on the water say they’re loving the expanded snapper season, which will continue again this weekend.

Louisiana was part of a multi-state compromise with the U.S. Department of Commerce, which allowed the fish to be caught 200 miles off the state’s coast for 39 days or until 1.04 million pounds of the fish have come to shore.

Right now, anglers are still more than 200,000 pounds short of that limit.

The dates where snapper can be fished under this new agreement are mostly weekends with exceptions made for holidays.

This weekend, from Aug. 18-20, is free. Also free is the following weekend and then Labor Day.

After Labor Day, the fish will be off limits – regardless of the weight brought in.

Congrats to young Henry for the awesome catch!
