October 18, 2012Adeline Nixon, 86, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012.
Mrs. Nixon was a member of Residents Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Michael Nixon; daughter, Maxine Nixon; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Nixon; parents, Arthur Sr. and Melvina Norman; sons, Charles Norman and Gerald Nixon Sr.; daughter, Earline Smith; brothers, Hurbert Peters and Dennis and Arthur Jr. Norman; and sisters, Velma and Estelle Norman, Ruth Harris and Thelma Debose.
