October 2, 2012Albert Joseph Ledet Jr., 70, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012.
Mr. Ledet was a founding member of Living Word Church of Houma, La. He was a Godly husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and loved Jesus with his whole heart, soul, mind and strength. He was a father figure to many, many young people at Living Word Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Ledet; sons, Albert III (Laura), Michael, Rev. Timothy Sr. (Margie) and John (Stacey) Ledet; daughters, Geralyn (Mark) Fangue and Angela (Joseph) Adair; sister, Dena (Casey) Redmond; 21 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Irene Ledet; parents, Albert Sr. and Dolores Ledet; sister, Charlotte Ledet; one grandchild; and four great-grandchildren. (Chauvin)
