Alberta Carrere Smith, 76, a native of Dulac, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters, Claudette (Vaughn) Voss, Kim (P. Kavvadi) Kavvadi, and Darlene and Marlene Ledet; seven grandchildren; four great -grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Louise Pellegrin Carrere; sisters, Stella Blanchard and Gertrude Hebert; and brothers, Stelay and Anthony Carrere.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
