Albertha D. Pellegrin, 73, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013.
Mrs. Pellegrin loved painting yard signs that her husband made, working puzzles, tending flowers and embroidering.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Julius Pellegrin; daughters, Anita Pellegrin, Sandra and Roxanne (Morgan) Foret and Charlotte (Richard) Hector; brother, Lawrence (Betty) Dupre; sisters, Emmadel (Louby) Dupre, Earline (Irvin) Naquin, Mary Pinell, Dorothy LeBouef and Mildred (David) Falgout; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Anita Dupre; son, Kenneth Pellegrin; one infant daughter; sister, Thelma Pitre; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Falgout Funeral Home with services to follow. (Falgout)
