Allen “Pookie” Orgeron, 63, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Mathews, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Orgeron; father, Irvin Orgeron; daughters, Allison Comeaux and Jaime Orgeron; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Orgeron.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Holy Savior Cemetery. (Falgout)
