Allen Paul Fonseca, 71, a native and resident of Lockport, La., passed away Tuesday, May 5.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Dufrene Fonseca; his step-father, Emmitt Roberts; sons, Johnny and William Fonseca; daughter, Susan Fonseca Hebert and husband Hilton; brother, Clifton Fonseca; grandchildren, Jarred, Danny, Jai, Erica, Bryant and Kristy; and great-grandchildren, Breanna, Zachary, Abe, Dylan, Madison and Seth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jules Fonseca and Nora Bourgeois Roberts; and brother, Lawrence Fonseca.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired welder.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
