T’bonne’s Bayou Grace helping locals succeed
February 9, 2010Alley “Red” Pierre Dupre, 80, a native of Montegut, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died at 12:05 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2010.
He is survived by sons, Alton (Debra) and Earl (Josie Buquet) Dupre; daughters, Betty (Jimmy) Guidry, Belinda (Horace) Boudwin, Linda LeBouef, Peggy (Ricky) Nelton and Shirlene (Johnny) LeBouef; 22 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Margret Guise Dupre; parents, Joseph and Carrie Use’ Dupre; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; brothers, Edward and Allen Dupre; and sisters, Leola Martin, Mae LeBouef and Lela Leonard.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Mr. Dupre will be buried at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
