Alvin Caldwell, 45, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, June 23, 2010.
Mr. Caldwell was Baptist and a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his brothers, Lowery (Stephanie), Carter and Wilbert (Veronica) Caldwell and Wilson (Denise) and Lionel (Pearl) Garner; sister, Mable Caldwell; and one aunt and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Sr. and Catherine Caldwell; one brother, Robert Caldwell; two sisters, Sarah and Rosetta Caldwell; and his grandmother, Irene Davis.
He is buried at the Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland.
