Alvin J. “Doo” Carter, 29, a native and resident of Klotzville, La., died at Assumption Community Hospital, Wednesday, May 14.
He is survived by his parents, Sarita Carter of Klotzville and David Brown of Florida; his stepfather, Edward Frazier of Klotzville; sons, Aryian and Alvin Carter Jr. of Donaldsonville, La., and Kelin Williams of Belle Rose, La.; daughter, Celyese Daggs of Donaldsonville; brothers, Dontracy and Kasey Carter of Klotzville and Dedrich Landry of White Castle, La.; sisters, Corissa and Demasha Brown of Florida; his grandmother, Geraldine Carter of Klotzville; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter Carter.
He was a construction worker.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Klotzville with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
