Alvin “Big Al” Johnson Sr., 48, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Saturday, April 27, 2013.
He is survived by his mother, Audrey Johnson; father, Lionel Jefferson; son, Alvin Johnson Jr.; daughters, Bianca Robinson and Danyelle Johnson; sisters, Mioshi (Joseph) Gore and Lisa (Melvin) Davis; and grandmother, Olevia Daniels.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Robertson; and sister, Peggy Johnson.
Visitation will be 2 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Williams & Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at Nelson Chapel AME Church in Napoleonville with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
