Curtis Joseph Leblanc Sr.
June 13, 2011Ambrose Louis Chaisson. 87, a native of Chackbay, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, June 4, 2011.
Mr. Chaisson was the owner of Chaisson’s Grocery and Supply in Dulac, La., and the former owner of Bayou Restaurant in Dulac. He was a member of the VFW and Knights of Columbus and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Delores Scott; sons, Vincent (Vera) and Danny (Cheryl) Chaisson; daughter, Charlene (Rickey) Giroir; brothers, Joseph (Juanita), Terry (Lois) and Thaddeus (Wilma) Chaisson; sisters, Corine Rodrigue and Angeline Domangue; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raoul and Leah Chaisson; and sister, Mary Poincot.
Burial was at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
