La. Legislature votes to abolish insurance regulating panel

Amy Margaret Bourg Rhodes, 86, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La. died at Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 1:00pm.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond F. Rhodes Jr. and his wife Judy and John G. Rhodes and his wife Kayla; one daughter, Linda Ann Rhodes; one sister, Mary Ann McKeon; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Frank Rhodes Sr.; her parents, Felician Bourg and Bertile Thibodeaux Bourg; one son, Patrick J. Rhodes; three brothers, Andrew, Paul and Wallace Bourg; and five sisters, Lena, Santy, Cecile, Bernadette and Bernice Bourg.
Amy was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a member of Gideons.
She is buried at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery in Houma.
Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
