Andre Paul Unbehagen, 14, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Bourg, La., died Sunday, May 9.


He is survived by his mother, Trisha Price Unbehagen; brother, Evan Patrick Unbehagen; grandparents, Jimmie Sr. and Veralyn Thibodeaux Price, and Wayne Sr. and Kathleen Webre Unbehagen; and great-grandparents, Roy Thibodeaux, Effie Bourg Price and Florence Champagne Webre; maternal aunt and godmother, Josie Price Breaux and husband Brian Breaux; uncle, Jimmie Price Jr. and wife Amy; paternal uncle and godfather, Wade Unbehagen and wife Jill; aunts, Cydni Unbehagen Benoit and Deborah Unbehagen Rouyea and husband Curtis; cousins, Ian Breaux, Ashley and Erica Price, Kennady, Zackary, Shasha and Braylen Unbehagen, Callie Rouyea, and Kaylee, Emma and Hagen Benoit; special family friends, Jerome and Katelyn Lapeyrouse; and beloved dog Chloe.


He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Paul Unbehagen; uncle, Wayne “Barry” Unbehagen; and grandparents, Leola Blanchard Thibodeaux, Henry J. Price, Sidney Webre, and Phillip and Elsie McCallum Unbehagen.

He loved boat riding, four wheeling, biking and video games. He was employed at MLK Stables, Outtahand Home Improvements and Accurate Climate Control. He owned his own grass cutting business. His future plans were to either be in law enforcement or join the military. He loved playing with family and friends and harassing his younger brother. He was a king-hearted, fun-loving teenager who loved to play practical jokes. He was planning to redo an old car with his good friend Jerome.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Capital One in his name.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, La. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with burial at St. Francis Cemetery #2 in Houma.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
