Andrew “Jay” St. Pierre Jr., 78, a native of Cut Off, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 4:08 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Annie St. Pierre; stepdaughter, Susan Haygood; sisters, Neva Hill, Melva Griffin, Earline Doucet and Anna Esponge; granddaughter, Olivia (Jaromy) Davaine; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Sr. and Dolass St. Pierre; brothers, Nolan and Tony St. Pierre; and sisters, Bessie and Lorina Rousse, Anna Gravois and Venra Dufrene.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
