Annie Babin Pierce, 94, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, July 24, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosalie (Billy) Ledet; brother, Alex (Esma) Babin; sister, Gladys Babin; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Pierce Sr.; parents, Paul and Elina Babin; sons, two infants and Jessie Pierce; brother, Louis Babin; grandson, Milton Ledet; and one great-grandson.
Interment was at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Cemetery in Raceland. (Falgout)
