Annie Naquin Chaisson, 86, a native and resident of Isle of Jean Charles, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 2 a.m.
She is survived by her sons, Hilton, Andrew, Lawrence and Dale Chaisson; Madaline Pellegrin, Mary Jane Danos, Rosie Dardar and Brenda Dardar; brother, Alphonse Naquin; 41 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Chaisson; parents, Vital and Felecia N. Naquin; son, Patterson Chaisson; daughters, Anna Mae Naquin and an infant daughter; brothers, Andrew, Evest, Gabriel and Clement Naquin; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at Pointe-Aux-Chene Firestation with the funeral to follow Saturday. She will be buried at Bisland Cemetery in Bourg, La.
