Ardene Ann DeHart

Ardene Ann DeHart, 81, a native of Cottonport, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011.

Mrs. DeHart was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church and was employed by Ramada Inn. She cared for her family and friends and enjoyed working in her garden.

She is survived by her husband, Murphy DeHart; son, Murphy (Renate) DeHart; daughter, Linda Pitre; sister, Edna Boudreaux; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ange and Edna Ortego; brother, Milton Ortego; and sisters, Bertha Wheeler, Melia Scallan, Lenora Edgman, Murlia Prudhomme and Luria Smith.

Burial was at Terrebonne Memorial Park. (Chauvin)
