Armina Doucet Bychurch, 82, a native of Galliano, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 7 p.m.


She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Dominique, Carol Frederick and husband Ray, and Barbara Bouzigard and husband Dale; two brothers, Forest Doucet and Vincent Doucet; five grandchildren, John and Carlo Dominique, Sherry Frederick, Rachel Brunet and Chad Bouzigard; and six great-grandchildren, Jared and Nicole Dominique, Brandy Frederick, Sarah Thibodaux, Alisha Bruce and Bethany Bouzigard.


She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bychurch; parents, Julian and Elodie Rousse Doucet; four brothers, Oris, Octave, Clarence and Joseph Doucet; four sisters, Josephine Doucet, Leonise “Nin” Doucet, Theresa Long and Ranza Doucet; one foster brother, Blanchard Rousse; one foster sister, Rosa Bourg; one son-in-law, Gary Dominique; and one grandson, Brian Bouzigard.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
