NSU business college dean elected to state CPA board

Aureline Lambert Thiel, 63, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Houma, La. died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at 10:35pm.
She is survived by her companion, Johnny Morvant; two sons, Arthur and Patrick Thiel; one daughter, Joel Thiel; one brother, Hercule Thiel; one step-brother, Jimmy Hopkins; one sister Regina Jarvis; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Thiel, Sr.; her parents, Arthur J. and Eula Dugas Lambert; one son, Joel Thiel; two daughters, Patricia and Joella Thiel.
Visitation is Friday, July 6, 2007 from 8am until Noon, with the funeral to follow at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. She will be buried at Bisland Cemetery in Bourg, La.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
