December 26, 2012Barry “Duck” Andrew LeBlanc, 59, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.
Mr. LeBlanc was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He never met someone who wasn’t a friend and everybody he knew loved him.
He is survived by his brothers, Alvin, Eugene (Esmerelda), Dale and Darry LeBlanc; and sisters, Eunice (Nick) Cangelosi, Joyce (Leroy) DeHart, Shirley (Eugene) Guy, Caroline (John) Trosclair and Sandra (Kevin) Huthinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Sr. and Eunice LeBlanc; brothers, Frances, Charles, Carroll, Druis Sr. and Ronald LeBlanc; and sisters, Rita LeBouef and Kathy Ledet.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Chauvin Funeral Home with Liturgy of the Word to follow. Burial will be at St. Elie Cemetery. (Chauvin)
