Bernice Pierce Lerille, 85, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Franklin, La., died Thursday, February 12, at 8:15 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Michael Anthony Callais; daughter, Emma C. Crouch; sisters, Gertie P. Gentry and Bessie P. Dufrene; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Golden Callais; second husband, Nelson Lerille; parents, Cyrus and Elucia Terrebonne Pierce; grandson, Gene Smith; and brothers, Nessie Pierce Sr., Alcee Pierce and Milton Pierce.
She was Catholic.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, February 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
