Roy Breaux, 76, a native and resident of Gheens, La., died Monday, February 16, at 9:39 a.m.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Sapia Breaux; sons, Terry Breaux and wife Catherine Breaux, Rickey Breaux and wife Belinda Breaux, and Shane Breaux and companion Kathleen Hamby; daughter, Angela Gauthreaux and husband Ted Gauthreaux; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre and Leonise Breaux; six siblings; and one grandchild.
He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
