Bessy Lee Chauvin Barrow, 91, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, December 30, 2008.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Barrow Guidry; sisters, Ethel Coffman and Frances Brien; two grandchildren, Brandy Spencer Bernard and Caleb Barrow Spencer; and great-grandchild, Nicholas Allen Bernard.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Nicholas Barrow; parents, Argus Chauvin and Meloie Savoie Chauvin; brothers, Howard Chauvin and Ollen Chauvin; and sisters, Della Usie, Jeanne Chauvin and Nurvy Chauvin.
She was a homemaker and parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, January 2, at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
