Beth Morgan Ledet, 83, a native of Hazelhurst, Miss., and resident of Houma, LA., died at 6:40 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1.
She is survived by one son, Leo C. Ledet Jr. of Houma; one sister, Emily Morgan Foster; one granddaughter, Cherie Ledet Rhodes; and one great-granddaughter, Amanda Michelle Rhodes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Charles Ledet; and her parents, George Dewey Morgan and Corinne Pitts Morgan.
She was retired from Ledet Insurance, was a Daughter of American Revolution, a registered nurse, an insurance agent, a graduate of Touro Nursing School and was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
