Betty Templet Morvant, 72, a resident and native of St. Charles Community, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Borremeo Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Cemetery.


She is survived by her sister, Jean Templet Hebert and husband, Norman; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Joseph Morvant Sr.; her parents, Ivy Joseph and Ruby Marie Theriot Templet; and her son, Curtis Joseph Morvant Jr.

She was a parishoner of St. Charles Borremeo Catholic Church.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
