Beverly Wean Landry, 70, a native of Columbus, Ohio, and resident of Houma, LA., died at 6:50 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2007.


Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Coteau Baptist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial in Garden of Memories in Gray, LA..

She is survived by three sons, Ted A. Landry II, Shawn Landry and wife, Darcus, and Jody Landry and wife, Stephanie; two daughters, Rebecca L. Marcel and Christina L. Landry; four grandchildren, Amiee Marcel, Spencer Savoy, Emma and Caleb Landry; two brothers, Ronald Wean and Charles Jenny; one sister, Marlene J. Stowe; and numerous nieces and nephews and family and friends.


She is preceded in death by her former husband, Ted A. Landry Sr., her parents, Roy F. Wean and Marian Grenbach Jenny; and her stepfather, Carl Jenny.

She was a parishioner of Coteau Baptist Church. She was a fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association and American Heart Association. She was a coordinator for the election polls.

She was a teacher for five years, and an Avon representative for 35 years.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Association.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
