Panty-clad man arrested in Mulberry area

Houma Police responded to a theft call at 7:55 a.m. Saturday at the east side Wal-Mart in reference to a theft, a spokesman said.
A loss prevention officer with Wal-Mart told police that Anthony Spencer, 37, of 3715 Baker Dr., Houma, took two long-sleeve shirts without paying for them, said Lt. Todd Duplantis. When police questioned Spencer, he admitted to stealing the items.
According to Duplantis, Spencer was arrested for shoplifting at the same store earlier in the month, Jan. 11, and was advised never to return to the Wal-Mart.
Spencer was arrested for theft of goods under $100 and entering and remaining after being forbidden.
