Brenda Fields-Ely, age 62, a resident and a native of Centerville, La., died Sunday, Aug. 22.
She is survived by her parents, Rev. & Mrs. Joseph Fields of Ceneterville; one daughter, Sherita (Leo) Gradley of Franklin, La.; one son, Maxie (Suzette) Ely, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev.; four sisters, Shelia (Larry) Jones of Verdunville, La., Debra (Ricky) Thomas of Centerville, Cynthia (Wallace) Fleming of Franklin and Pamela (Allen) Randle of Garden City, La.; three brothers, Vernon (Betty) Fields of Belle Rose, La., Melvin (Sylvia) Fields of Patterson, La., and Wilfred (Angela) Fields of Garden City; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie Ely, Sr.
Burial was at Franklin Cemetery
