Families appeal for empathy with state closures
November 8, 2010Brett David Himel, 22, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010.
He is survived by his daughter, Kaydence Himel; parents, Karen Eschete and Kris Himel Sr.; brothers, Kris Jr., Christian, Kendall and Austin Himel and Ryan Eschete; sisters, Krystal (Jason) Hutzler, Jennifer (Garland) Lovell, Kristalee Himel and Danielle (Danny) Braiwick; and grandfather, Earl Himel.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8 at Samart Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis #2 Cemetery.
