April 11, 2014Camille Joseph Duplantis Sr., 89, a native of Four Point, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
Mr. Duplantis was a hard working person and loved to work in his garden. He enjoyed meeting people while working at Wal-Mart. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sons, Donald, Camille Jr. and David Duplantis; daughters, Barbara Buquet and Sue Poiencot; brothers: Bud and Pat Duplantis; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8 to 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
