September 2, 2012Carl Bailey Jr., 77, a native of Donner, La., and resident of Gibson, La., died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Constance Bailey; sons, Rodney and Zachary Bailey; daughters, Dawn Bailey, Gloria (Percy) Cormier, Carlotta (Dwane) Trosclair, Denise Netters, Cheryl Alston, Margie (Tom) Scoby and Pamela (Sterling) Washington; 25 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Bailey Sr. and Sophornia Givens; daughters, Margaret Bailey and Hope James; son, Carl Bailey III; brother, Warren Sanderford; sister, Martha Christon; and one grandchild.
Burial was at Southdown Cemetery. (Community)
