Chester Joseph Soprano, 85, a native and resident of Charenton, La., died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012.
Mr. Soprano was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beryl Soprano; children, Stephanie Landry, Frank, Kim (Amber), Chris and Todd Soprano and Gwen and Gretchen (Chad) Boudreaux; brother, Charlie Soprano; sister, Anna Foti; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Sr. and Venera Soprano; brothers, Camille, Joseph, Peter Jr., Samuel, Anthony and Francis Soprano; sister, Sarah Verrette; and one granddaughter.
Burial was at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Cemetery in Charenton. (Ibert’s)
