September 2, 2012Carrie Cheramie, 83, a native of Cut Off, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Aug. 24th, 2012.
Mrs. Cheramie was a homemaker, parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
She is survived by her son, Jody Cheramie; daughters; Phyllis (Gerrieth) Boudreaux and Sandra (Glenn) Plaisance; sister, Bernice Cheramie; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralphton Cheramie; parents, Edwin Terrebonne and Macy Orgeron; daughter, Mona Eymard; brothers, Alvin and Edwin Jr. Terrebonne; sister, Lois Constransitch; and one grandchild.
Entombment was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Mausoleum in Cut Off. (Falgout)
