Carmelita “Cookie” Bernucho Peltier, 88, a native of Berwick, La., and resident of Bayou Sale, La., died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Wilfred Peltier Jr.; children, Cherryl Shilling, Sheila (Tim) Finley, Wilfred III (Leslie) and Russell Peltier; sister, Lorraine Brownell; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children, Maria and Diana Peltier; parents, Leonard and Florence Bernucho; and brothers, Len and Lee Bernucho.
Burial is at Franklin Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
