Carroll P. Matherne, 73, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, November 24, at 12 p.m.
He is survived by his brother, Stanley Matherne Jr.; and sisters, Marion Bourgeois, Beverly Sampey, Audrey Hebert, Jerrylyn Battaglia and Janet Berzas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Matherne Sr. and Rena Chauvin Matherne; and brothers, Evans, James, Danny, Calvin and David Matherne.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews, La. Mass will be at 11 a.m. with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport, La.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
