Catarina Torres, 62, a native of Pharr, Texas, and a resident of Houma, La., died at 12:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015.
Mrs. Torres is survived by her son, Silvestre (fiancé: Jeannette Lopez) Torres; daughter, Maria Del Carmen Torres; many siblings; and two grandchildren.
Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
