Catherine Agnes Gerchow Jeansonne, 94, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday April 5, at 8:30 p.m.
She is survived by her daughters, June Sloan and husband, Larry, of Gallatin, Tn., and Catherine Webre and husband, Dale, of Sunset, La.; son, Albert Jeansonne and wife, Julie, of Houma; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odom Joseph Jeansonne; her parents, Joseph A. Gerchow and Iren Curley Gerchow; brothers, Robert Gerchow and Joseph Gerchow; and sisters, Thelma Tramuta and Mae LaGuenec.
She was a homemaker.
Liturgy of the Word will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
